A Great Day

Just a brilliant victory speech by Obama. A beautiful, fitting conclusion to what turned into an election I will never forget. McCain’s concession speech was classy and respectful, but his victorious opponent showed one final time what ultimately endeared him to a nation. In the coming days, weeks, months and years, it will be very interesting to see what Obama does with America. Now however, its time to congratulate the 44th President of the United States as well as all those who voted or were involved in the 2008 election in any capacity. Today is truly a great day to be an American.

  1. Agreed. Now is not a time to continue to “take sides” seeing as how we are one unified nation. Obama will take into account the best interest of our country, not just half of it.

  2. I have to agree. Though I was a McCain supporter, Obama put me at ease with his speech. We should congratulate, and begin to support our president. Though he may not be the one over 55 million people wanted, he won fairly, and needs our help to turn this country around.
    Great Job Obama!

  3. I’d like to thank Sam Benjamin for providing words for my feelings….
