Gov. Palin spoke outside Wasilla, Alaska, after casting her vote. While she would not say who she voted for, she did say she hoped to be on the winning side tomorrow morning.
“Tomorrow I hope, I pray, I believe that I will wake up as vice president elect,” Palin said.
Palin said she had an “optimistic, confident view” concerning the outcome.
She also spoke about how she is excited to work with Japan as vice president. She said she wants to strengthen America’s relationship with Japan.
Palin was the only candidate to speak to journalists after casting her vote.
